Jenny Noland, functional nutritionist in Eugene Oregon

I am a licensed and triple-board-certified functional nutritionist based in Eugene, Oregon. Since 2015, I have run a vibrant nutritional therapy practice, serving clients locally and nationwide. My approach focuses on personalized nutrition and natural therapies to optimize digestive health and metabolic function and support cancer care outcomes.

Before transitioning to nutrition, I spent 15 years as a dedicated business and IT professional. While I enjoyed my career, my passion began to shift after a pivotal moment in 2002 when I met my future husband, who had long struggled with an autoimmune disease. Witnessing the limitations of conventional medicine, I became determined to explore alternative approaches to help him heal. This determination grew even stronger in 2010 when I faced my own health crisis. I was diagnosed with thyroid cancer and endured a traumatic surgery with rare, life-threatening complications. These personal experiences deeply motivated me to pursue a new path in functional nutrition, focusing on healing and holistic wellness.

As challenging as this experience was, it ultimately led to a profound realization: the importance of taking control of my family's health. This motivated me to embark on an intensive study of food and nutrition. After making significant lifestyle changes for myself and my family, I witnessed remarkable improvements in our health and well-being. Nutrition quickly became my life’s passion, and my desire to share this valuable knowledge with others inspired me to start my practice. With over a decade of research and study focused on gut health, chronic inflammation, and the endocrine system, I have also completed numerous advanced training programs in functional medicine and nutrition (see the Credentials section below).

Through my work with clients, I’ve observed the deep connection between the body and mind. Many physical health issues are often rooted in unresolved emotional trauma. As a certified Transpersonal Energy Healing Counselor, I incorporate Transpersonal Energy Healing Therapy into my practice, helping clients bring the energy within their systems into conscious awareness. This process encourages fluidity, allowing them to identify with their Essential Selves and liberate themselves from limitations.

When I’m not immersed in nutrition, you’ll likely find me engaging in other passions, such as ballet and yoga. My life has been an incredible journey, full of highs, lows, and constant learning. I’m grateful for every experience and growth opportunity. My ongoing goal is to continue expanding my knowledge in love, compassion, nutrition, fitness, and spirituality, as I believe integrating all of these elements is essential for true well-being. I’m passionate about helping others unlock their potential through food and lifestyle choices and building a solid foundation for personal growth. I believe that the right lifestyle nurtures creativity, supports well-being, and ultimately fuels a fulfilling and vibrant life.
